Jesus Walks on the Sea

Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat

and go before Him to the other side,

while He sent the multitudes away.

And when He had sent the multitudes away,

He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray.

Now when evening came, He was alone there.

But the boat was now in the middle of the sea,

tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.

Now in the fourth watch of the night

Jesus went to them,

walking on the sea.

And when the disciples saw Him

walking on the sea,

they were troubled, saying,

"It is a ghost!"

And they cried out for fear.

But immediately Jesus spoke to them,

saying, "Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid."

And Peter answered Him and said,

"Lord, if it is You,

command me to come to You on the water."

So He said, "Come."

And when Peter had come down

out of the boat,

he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

But when he saw that the wind was boisterous,

he was afraid;

and beginning to sink

he cried out, saying,

"Lord, save me!"

And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand

and caught him,

and said to him,

"O you of little faith,

why did you doubt?"

And when they got into the boat,

the wind ceased.

Then those who were in the boat

came and worshiped Him,

saying, "Truly You are the Son of God."

goodbye....

so many things happened recently... out of it, the most significant one is the passing away of my granduncle.. he passed away on thursday, 19th of october... he's in pain, it's better for him to go... one of the most emotional times is when we walk the casket out of the void deck and before the cremation... shall not blog too much details here...

but what disgusts me most is that there are 4 old folks whom none of us recognizes... they came during the wake and help us fold hellnotes... thinking they are friendly neighbours, we allowed them to help us fold... in the end they ate the food, even demanded a red packet from us for their service.. for the next three days of the wake we rejected their help and did not welcome them... they still sat down at the tables and helped themselves to the food..

on one occasion there was no food on their tables, they came and ask us why they do not have food... my uncle just said no, the 4 old folks went back to seat... during supper, more food was served, again their tables were empty.. food were served to 3 of my granduncle's friend, which wanted to eat thely food after the ritual is done.. the 4 old folks convenienty stood up and sat at that table without asking and ate all the food, finishing before the rituals are being done, even before the relatives get to look at what food were served... such inconsiderate manners at such occasions... they just left after finishing the food, did not even clear the plates.. how most disgusting... ah well...

all that's left to remember him is a big ostrich egg and a bottle of champagne... hai... i dun even wanna think about where he is now...

today's colour: death lingers...
